Outdoor Sports

We strike for two key wins: wide student participation in our program and competitive excellence from the teams we field each year. The fact that some of our athletes have gone to represent their state is a bonus. They have won prizes at national and state levels too. Inclusion is the foundation upon which our athletes mature physically, emotionally and socially. Through sports, students take responsibility for personal growth and develop integrity, commitment and dedication. They also add skills in time management, goal setting, work ethic, leadership, and sportsmanship, as well as learning to deal courageously with adversity and sometimes defeat.

Physical activity helps students get the exercise they need every day. They might not get that activity otherwise, as they might have homework or other activities that keep them busy at night. Athletics ensure that your children set aside time to exercise.

Sketing

Skating for exercise helps kids burn off extra energy, build strong muscles, and maintain a healthy weight. Stress reduction – Skating is a great way to alleviate back-to-school stress, and it provides a welcome distraction from every day worries.

Basketball teaches you about being a good team player and can be a great social sport. Adults should check with their doctor before taking up basketball. Basketball puts a lot of stress on the body and injuries can happen, so warming up, stretching your muscles and joints, and cooling down is important.
